Due to the increase in
business from 1991 to 2005, we reformed our company and changed the name from
Becks Canine Service to Enforcement Canine, Inc. The ideas and the
standards still remain the same as when the company was started, but we now are
able to serve our customers better. We now offer a full range of detector dog
services including explosive detection with capabilities to work in combat
environments. We have dog teams readily available to deploy anywhere in the
world to help support operation to suppress terrorism. Enforcement Canine, Inc.
is truly an international company with world wide K9 capabilities.
When Enforcement Canine, Inc. DBA Beck's Canine Service started in 1991, we
started selling green police dog candidates to police departments and we have
kept that part of our business going strong. We sell over 125 dual purpose
K9s, single detector K9s, and titled K9s a year to police
departments all over the United States. All our dogs are tested and hand
selected by members of our staff in Europe and then the dogs are shipped to our
facility in North Carolina. All our dogs come with health guarantees, which
include the K9's x-rays and guarantees for the work of the canine. If the
canine that you selected for your department cannot complete the canine course
he or she was purchased for due to the dog's inability to work, the canine will
be replaced.
Enforcement Canine, Inc is owned by Kevin P. Beck,
President, and Scott Walker, Vice-President. After a successful tour of duty at
Lackland AFB, TX, home of the Department of Defense Dog Training School, where
Mr. Beck was a USMC explosive dog trainer for the DOD/FAA, he moved to
Wilmington, NC and started Beck's Canine Service. Scott Walker partnered with
Mr. Beck in 1996 while he was a K9 handler for the local sheriff's office. With
their combined talents from various K9 training programs, they have been able
to mold a very successful K9 training program located in Wilmington, North
Carolina now known as "Enforcement Canine, Inc."
Our eight week
patrol/ detection dog program has proven to be successful. Whether it is for
explosive detection or narcotic detection we are able to produce a canine team
in eight weeks due to the quality of training and the quality of our dogs. By
keeping our class size to a maximum of only 8 students, we are able to give
each one hours of individual instruction. Combine that with our facility, which
includes 27 kennel runs, the student dorm, 15 acres of training grounds and the
Wilmington beaches. We are second to none.
Courses Offered PATROL/NARCOTICS (8 WEEKS) PATROL/EXPLOSIVES (8 WEEKS) NARCOTIC
DETECTION (3 WEEKS) NARCOTIC/TRACKING (4 WEEKS) EXPLOSIVE DETECTION
